My
Bio
I am now 21 years old and have been skiing since I was 8
years old, after my grandfather introduced the sport into
Scotland in 1952. The passion for waterskiing has remained
in the family and has been passed down through the
generations.
My dad, John Arthur, taught me to ski on the Black Loch
near a small village called Slamannan and is still my main
coach to date. We have continued to train and base
ourselves in Scotland and I truly believe skiing in these
hard and adverse conditions has helped me become the
athlete I am today. Great appreciation goes to my parents
as over the years they have provided me with great support,
on and off the water.
Off the water, I successfully left school when I was 16
years old and attended the University of Stirling where I
studied Accountancy and Finance. I graduated with a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accountancy and Finance last
year and since then have decided to ski full time.
