US MASTERS Results

Well today was my first time skiing in a US Masters
tournament and I am pleased to say it was a good
experience.
I was second off the dock where I scored 3@11m. I was quite content with this as Robin Lake is renowned for its moving water! The other girls followed on afterwards, 4@11m being the best score.
The exciting part to tell you about it my first run off at the Masters with the top seed Karen Truelove and World Trick Champion Clementine Lucine as we all scored the same! This was pretty exciting for me!
First off the dock was Clementine, followed by myself and then Karen. We all had to go out cold at 12m.....Clem went on to score 2@11m then I came out and scored 4@11m equalling the top score of the ladies slalom event. I thought this score would have been safe, or at least have forced another run off but top seed Karen came out on to the water and skied strong to 4.5 buoys, taking the final place in the final. Congrats to her!
It was a real honor to ski in the tournament and is definitely an experience! Having experience of Robin Lake is a good thing, you know bit better of what to expect.
All in all I'm really happy with the way I skied. Skiing in such a big event for the first time and running the buoys I did...well I'm pretty happy! I now know what to expect and I look forward to competing in the tournament next year!
